Penelope is a piece for a solo piccolo player commissioned by Amy Likar (who also premiered it on December 18, 2010). The sheet music has three lines, one for piccolo sounds, one for vocal sounds, and one for footsteps. It is based on the final chapter of James Joyce's Ulysses.
